Meatless Monday: Sweet Potato Chickpea Curry – A hands-on cooking class at the 1909 Culinary Academy focused on preparing a signature vegetarian dish on February 3, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Tickets are CA$37.61 per person or CA$121.85 for a group of four.

Beyonsea and the Mothers – This play explores Jamaican culture, queerness, Black identity, immigration, and complex family dynamics at The Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts on February 2-8, 2025 with varying showtimes. Tickets are $15–$40 +HST, with pay-what-you-can options on select days.
St Jacobs Market Food Tour – This food tour on February 5, 2025 at 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM offers a two-hour experience of Mennonite food, culture, and market history, featuring six tastings and stories from local producers. This costs $42 + booking fee.
Swiftie Skate – This is a one-hour skating event at RIM Park’s Optimist Rink on February 8, 2025 at 5:30 – 6:30pm, featuring Taylor Swift’s greatest hits. Skates can be rented for $18 and tickets range from CA$27.96 – CA$54.58. Kids & Youth Ticket (16 and under) costs CA$17.31.

Nature’s Lessons on How to Get through Winter – a short nature outing in Waterloo Park February 2, 2025 at 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, exploring how nature adapts to winter and offering lessons for personal well-being with utmost 15 participants. This is for free, simply sign a waiver.
The Linear Trail and Riverside Park, Cambridge – This is a guided birding and nature walk, offering opportunities to spot a variety of birds along with other wildlife. The walk is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours on mostly flat ground starting at Chopin Drive‘s parking lot at 9:00 AM on February 8, 2025. Registration is required, and non-members are welcome.
