Family Day Events

Family Day Bowling – A fun event on February 17, 2025, from 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM. Hosted by the Waterloo Conservative Association, enjoy family-friendly bowling, unlimited soft drinks, water, and pizza. Free for members and their immediate families. Tickets for non-members range from $0 to $35.

Van Leeuwen Realty Group’s Family Day Ice Skating – A Client Appreciation Ice Skating event on February 17, 2025, from 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM at Kiwanis Arena, Kitchener. Enjoy public skating followed by hot chocolate and snacks. Free event, registration required, bring your own skates, helmets recommended.

Meatless Monday: Mac ‘n Cheese – A Family Day cooking class on February 17, 2025, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at 1909 Culinary Academy, 5183 Trussler Road, Ayr. Participants will prepare homemade baked mac and cheese in a hands-on session. Admission: $37.61 per person, $121.85 for a group of 4, 2-for-1 at $19.56.

Exciting and New

Magical Performance & Fun Fair – A 5-hour, family-friendly event perfect for kids on February 17, 2025, from 11 AM – 4 PM at Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum, 10 Huron Road, Kitchener. Features a magic show by Scott Boyd, fair games, face painting, and more. First 120 tickets include a Beaver Tail treat. Free venue parking. Admission: Ages 4+ $19.56, 3 & under free.

One Love: Family Day Edition – A reggae, dancehall, and Lovers Rock event on February 16, 2025, from 10:30 PM onwards at Room 47, 47 King Street North, Waterloo. Hosted by LEGAL-E, this 4-hour event features an all-star DJ lineup. $5.50 advance tickets available. VIP booths and bottle service.

Glitz & Glam Drag Bingo – A lively 19+ night of drag, comedy, and bingo on February 21, 2025, from 7 PM – 10 PM at Farm League Brewing, Cambridge. Hosted by Crystal Quartz, with prizes from The Stag Shop. First-come, first-served seating. Admission: Early Bird $14.64, General $19.96.

2025 90’s Thunder Ball – A nostalgic throwback to the iconic decade on February 22, 2025, from 8 PM – 1 AM at Puddicombe House, New Hamburg. Featuring classic 90’s music, wood-fired pizza, and a lively atmosphere. Themed outfits encouraged. 19+ event. Admission: $35.

February 2025 Ceili – An evening of lively Irish music and dancing on February 22, 2025, from 7:30 PM – 11:00 PM at Victoria Park Pavilion, Kitchener. Featuring the Grand River Ceili Band, with guided dance steps for all ages and experience levels. Admission: Kids under 5 free, Ages 5-17 $10, Advance $17, Door $25, Family Ticket (admission for 2 adults and 2 children) CA$50.00 + CA$1.25 service fee.

Valentine’s Tea at the Gallery – A fundraising tea party on February 16, 2024, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the Canadian Clay & Glass Gallery, 25 Caroline Street North, Waterloo. Jeans ‘N Classics: Never Break the Chain – The Music of Fleetwood Mac – A night of Fleetwood Mac hits on February 20, 2025, at 8:00 PM at the Main Theatre, 101 Queen Street North, Kitchener.
